Custom Fishing

Arctic Realms completely reworks the vanilla fishing experience by introducing dozens of unique custom fish, competitive events, and a rewarding economy system. If you wish to get vanilla fishing drops than you can toggle the custom fish by doing /fishing toggle

🌊 Custom Fish System

While fishing, you can catch custom fish across four rarities:

• Common
• Uncommon
• Rare
• Legendary

Each fish records:

• 🧑 The player who caught it
• 📏 Its size (varies every catch)

You may also catch Junk items, which have no value and cannot be sold.

📘 Discovering Fish

Every time you catch a new species, it is automatically added to your Fishing Log, accessible via /fishing.

Your fishing log allows you to:

• Track all discovered and undiscovered species
• See when you first caught a fish
• View total catches per species
• Check the largest size you’ve ever caught

🎯 Goal: Catch them all and complete your collection!

💰 Selling Fish

Custom fish can be sold at the Fishing Shop using /fishing shop.

Selling Options

• 🖱️ Manually place fish into the GUI and left-click the gold ingot
• 🪣 Click the bucket of cod to instantly sell all fish in your inventory

Hover over the sell items to preview:

• Total sale value
• Fish included in the transaction

💡 Fish value depends on:

• Rarity
• Size (larger fish are worth more)

• Player with the largest single fish wins
• Rankings available via /emf top
